DCarbon congratulates EPD Egypt for the first and the exclusive program of its kind in Egypt with the support of Egypt’s Ministry of Environment.
This program is hands-on training on how to perform LCA through a pilot LCA project, followed by the development of an EPD. Participants will carry out LCA calculations work by themselves.

This training program aims at providing participants with Expert Level learning on the concepts and application of Environmental Life Cycle Assessment (E-LCA) standardized methodology in accordance with ISO 14025, ISO/TS14027, ISO 14040, ISO 14044 and ISO/TS14067.

For construction products in Europe, the EPD programme is also aligned with the European standard EN 15804 and ISO 21930. EPDs have global validity accepted in the most renowned Green Building Schemes (e.g. BREEAM, LEED), Building Information Management (BIM) software for building LCAs and Green Public Procurement.
